If you aren’t catastrophically failing, you haven’t even begun to flirt with the boundary of your potential. Push yourself past where you comfortably remain. Scare yourself. Hold on wildly as you guide the force of nature inside you waiting to be released. Growth requires courage and great faith. Push. Push. Always ahead. Fail forward in the direction of travel. Fall down, learn from the mistake and use it to make you stronger. Never relent. Others won’t come with you, that is ok. We must separate ourselves from what holds us back in order to grow into what will project us into the future. If we stagnate we will surely die. Comfort is a trap. Forward is the only possible course. It’s uncertain and unknown, but we will no doubt atrophy if we yield to our inner terrified self and remain in the security of what we know.
